I like to write prompt-inspired posts!
Well OK, there’s a lot more to it than just that, but in all seriousness, writing stuff is one of my ‘go-to’ activities for de-stressing. It’s a means of spilling the chaotic thoughts tumbling around my brain, and sifting them into some kind of order on the page. Sometimes I’ll watch some TV, sometimes I’ll play some games, and sometimes I’ll read.
It all depends on my mood, and the nature of the day. The type of stress can definitely have an impact on the best way to relieve it. This might sound very British, but sometimes a good cup of tea can be soothing after a frantic day. It is also very British to enjoy a beer to help relax sometimes!
