For all of my complaints about the retail life, I dare say I am something of a people person. I find it relatively easy to talk to people, and in sales, all the fancy terms and processes can be distilled to one thing: communication. Being able to easily talk to people is a useful ability if you wish to communicate! It’s something I’ve had to work at, but I found my comfort zone in retail, and in having friendly conversations with would-be customers!
