Robin Hood: Men in Tights reference FTW! LOL
I don’t get it?
You’ve never seen the Mel Brooks classic movie “Robin Hood: Men In Tights?!” :-O I don’t know if we can be friends anymore!!! :'(
In short – there’s a scene where Robin Hood, played by Cary Elwes, says to a group of villagers, “Lend me your ears!” He’s promptly pelted by a half dozen or so ears, & says, “That’s disgusting.” I thought you were referencing it with your first lines.
Ah, I understand now! As it happens, yes, that seen inspired the remark!
