I’ll confess that my direct involvement in my local community is muted. I’ll take part in local elections, I’ll shop in local shops, and where I work, I service the local community with their bathroom needs, but in terms of say, getting out and campaigning for this and that, that’s not really who I am. Truth be told, that sort of thing doesn’t happen a lot in my local community anyway.

Since getting home, the cat has been convinced he's owed about a million meals, and has incessantly reminded us of this.
