This prompt comes from this site, and I might well reference this site a lot in the future. The idea is to base something fictional out of the prompt, however I am already occupied by work on stories, so I (probably) won’t bite off more than I can chew. Or will I?!

Regarding the prompt, I think, whether a scenario I might encounter, or the start of a fictional tale, I would seek to alert the authorities, and remove myself from the area as fast as I could. There is zero chance of me loitering in the vicinity of an unknown, and seemingly abandoned package. Does that make me boring? Perhaps. It also ensures I’ll probably survive the experience!

I saw the prompt in your post and thought, “I would run the eff away!”
But… I’m from the NYC area.
It was a weird prompt! I think it’s meant to be the start of a story, but I cannot think of any (sensible) person who would stop to open a bag or package left behind on public transport!
