The prompt today is ‘what makes you laugh?‘

Lots of things make me laugh. The clever wit of comedians on TV shows like Mock the Week makes me laugh. The cutting and edgy humour of Jimmy Carr makes me laugh. The outrageous silliness of kids shows like The Amazing World of Gumball makes me laugh. I don’t have a specific genre of comedy that I find amusing – though the ‘dad joke’ genre is as brilliant as it is groan-worthy.

My wife and daughter make me laugh, my parents and brother make me laugh, my colleagues and friends make me laugh… there is much humour to be found in this world, and I’m going to share some now.
