I’m not quite sure what to make of snow. It’s beautiful to gaze at through a window. Freshly-fallen snow creates a stunning, serene landscape. Walking in freshly-laid snow, experiencing that crunch under one’s foot, is a satisfying moment. That all said, snow is also cold, it turns to a mushy ice before long, and if you drive (not that I happen to) snow disguises patches of treacherous ice. Plus, let’s face it, meerkats are not especially acquainted with frozen landscapes – we prefer summer sun and warmth to the bitter cold!
