Lockdown!

So we entered into uncharted territory. Our lives in the UK are now on hold for three weeks, with unknown and unforeseen consequences and issues likely to arise in that time. Now more than ever, we need to recall the compassionate side of humanity, so we can record this as a triumph of dignity, respect and kindness.

On a personal note, I hope I don’t drive my wife and daughter too crazy with my eccentric behaviour. We are allowed to pop out for a walk every so often (just two at a time, so I guess we’ll rotate that), and we can do the same thing to head to the supermarket to get essentials, but I already know I’ll go a little stir crazy. This isn’t a holiday, this isn’t a game, this is to save lives. I hope everyone stays safe, wherever you are in the world, and that you look after yourselves and each other.
