… Read minds!
Now… let’s be real here. If I could read minds, I’d definitely use this power for personal gain. Working in retail/sales, it would be most useful for working out a customer’s expectations, queries and objections, and overcoming those hurdles pre-emptively. There’d be opportunities with quizzes – imagine it – you go on a show like ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire?’ and you just happen to ace it!
There are many reasons why the power would be handy, provided you could switch it off when you wanted – I for one would not want to have every last voice bearing down upon me, for every moment of every day. Selectively reading minds, when the circumstances warrant it, would be a very useful power, and one that could assist me in my day job!

I find it most telling (in a very good way) that you would use this power to help you be the best at your current employment (OK, and maybe win a game show). Most people would use it to take over the world or manipulate powerful people.
Weeeeeeeell…. I’d only shoot for world domination on weekends, but thank you
