Ages ago – two years ago in fact – I started a little chronicle of my Football Manager 2012 career. Thanks to a slow laptop that we ended up with out of necessity, I was unable to continue that particular saga, but now, thanks to a new, much improved piece of hardware, I can present the next chapter – The Italian Job, as I like to call it.

Since getting home, the cat has been convinced he's owed about a million meals, and has incessantly reminded us of this.
The Daily Mail readership has dropped 32%, people are saying they will be bankrupt before 2030 because no-one wants to advertise in them.
