Welcome to a new season and a new era! Formula 1 has changed a lot over the decades, for various reasons. This time new rules (both on-track and off it) are in place to make the racing closer, and to balance the playing field. Will these moves bear fruit? Or will Mercedes and Red Bull continue to be the teams to beat? In the following sections I’ll be breaking down the new rules, and what they might mean.
