On the 6th of August 2014, Meerkat Musings was born! It has been a rollercoaster ride, and via the site and its connections, I’ve made good friends. I’ve had a lot of fun! There have been many stimulating conversations, exciting moments, and I look forward to seeing what the next few years have in store!
Many congratulations and wishing you many more years blogging
Thank you
congratulations, 8 years of lies, distortions and false information
Nah David (whoops, Derrick), that would be you.
And congratulations to you for acquiring the level of hubris required to denigrate those who violate U.S. immigration law after you spent multiple years (… checks notes …) violating U.S. immigration law. Also the U.S. Social Security Act, state child-support laws, voter-registration laws in at least three states …
David/Derrick’s hypocrisy knows no bounds, right? His latest set of complaints RE Bruce criticising Christianity, are further examples of this. If David/Derrick can tell Bruce that he cannot criticise or mock religion, then we can tell David/Derrick he’s not allowed to criticise or talk about the LGBT community, or women’s rights, or abortion. Seems only fair.
Aw, Ben, where’s the fun in that? Next you’ll be telling him he’s not allowed to expound on the importance of the rule of law, the sanctity of marriage, the importance of a father’s presence in his child’s life, the importance of providing for one’s family, the importance of submitting to government authorities and complying with their directives (Romans 13:1-8), the need for believers to conduct themselves in such a manner as to be above reproach, the fact that salvation does not absolve one of worldly consequences for their sin (as David learned from failing to keep his pants zipped around Bathsheba) … I’ll be generous and assume Derrick was not saved until after the turn of the century (his prior testimony notwithstanding) so that he can continue to claim his profession of faith covers his decision to abandon his child.
… where was I?
Oh, and you might even be foolhardy enough to say he can’t preach on Proverbs 22:1 by virtue of the fact that he won’t even use his legal name, much less guard its reputation. He’s a bit limited on preaching anything related to 1 Peter 3:15 as well.
Goodness. Have we left Derrick anything to preach on? Pretty sure the Bible doesn’t endorse being a two-faced asshat; otherwise he’d be all set.
Here’s to many more years to come!
Gracias 😀
De nada, mi amigo.
