Today is ‘favourite guest appearance’.
Every now and then, someone pops up in a show and everyone goes ‘aaaaaaah’. Bruce Willis turned up in Friends for several episodes, returning to his sitcom roots. Will Wheaton’s appearances as himself in The Big Bang Theory are always funny, and Professor Stephen Hawking also has also appeared in the show, as well as The Next Generation.
It’s TNG that wins this. Leonard Nimoy’s guest appearance as Spock for the two-parter ‘Reunification’ is a powerful link between two generations of Star Trek.
I thought Bruce Willis was pretty good and funny in Friends but I HATED when he started crying and stuff with Rachel. In a way it was funny, but at the same time it was kind of obnoxious and annoying! I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the show Mad About You but Bruce Willis was in one of those and was hilarious!
I love Stephen Hawking’s appearances on The Big Bang Theory!! It showed him as more than just a genius; I thought it showed a lot more aspects of his personality… even if it was all make-believe. 🙂
I keep trying to get silly WordPress to send me emails when you post new blogs, but it’s being very difficult. Grrr…
