Texas AG sues to shutter ‘nuisance’ homeless center
Is this what can be expected of the USA, as it moves forward into a new MAGA era? Scotty of Scottie’s Playtime has shared this article, concerning plans from a supposedly good, pious Christian to shut down a homeless shelter. Texas’ Attorney General makes a number of sensationalist statements, but these seem designed to strike terror, as opposed to being anything of substance, and he shows zero compassion for those who are in need. Sadly, this is Republican 1-o-1 at this point. It should be seen as a damming indictment of how MAGA Republicans/Christians think, and one has to wonder when charity became such an ugly word in their eyes.
