It’s fair to say that I have something of a love/hate relationship with the Beautiful Game. Football has delivered a lot of mixed emotions down the decades, and at times I have tried to shut it out of my life, but it keeps creeping back into my blood. I might as well put my thoughts and feelings on the sport to the page, and dive into the highs and lows I’ve experienced as a fan.
