The Thinking ‘Kat: Epic Distractions

This is Donald Trump from the other day. I certainly don’t doubt that matters pertaining to UFOs and UAPs are interesting, and would welcome disclosure and transparency where these matters are concerned, but the timing certainly seems suspect. With the public and media refusing to drop the Epstein story, despite Trump’s suggestion that people don’t care (I can assure you Donald, a global network of evil abusers is a matter of public interest), it seems he is now producing loud distractions, and this is one of them.

The trouble is, it could not be more obvious that it’s a distraction. This is clearly smoke and mirrors, aiming to deflect scrutiny. Trump – and members of his team – has repeatedly contradicted himself where Epstein is concerned, and he is mentioned in the file thousands of times. Public interest in the case has not wavered, despite Trump’s demands that it should, because people want justice. Epstein ran a highly-coordinated sexual abuse ring for years. It’s clear some very powerful people were involved. Trump may not have been involved in acts of abuse or violence (innocent until proven guilty, despite his various bawdy comments and history), but why is he trying to urge people to move on from this? Why the big song and dance now?

Is it out of fear? Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, with dubious ties to Epstein of his own, was arrested the other day. His arrest wasn’t to do with abuse, but it was over his relationship to Epstein and the handling of government information. There is no telling what Andrew might say to protect himself. Is Trump concerned that Andrew might sing like a canary, and incriminate him? Or is this is a more general fear, unrelated to Andrew’s arrest but reflecting worry that wrong-doing lurking in the files will come to light, if people keep probing?

In any event, this social media post is certainly a big, bold distraction from something Trump is concerned about. I also doubt it will go anywhere genuinely interesting. Are we likely to get a big announcement that intelligent alien life is not only real, but has been visiting us for decades? Even if that were true, would any government admit it? It wouldn’t do much for public trust to learn that we’d been lied to for decades on the subject. It would be exciting news, though I can imagine some people panicking over it. Religious fanatics might not take to the news in a particularly healthy manner. It’s entirely possible that agencies with sensitive information will simply not share it. There’s no telling what information is not shared with the government where UFOs are concerned.

I don’t expect anything noteworthy to come from this, but let’s hope that it does not distract from important matters, such as the Epstein files, and seeing to it that the victims of his abuse are granted justice.
