Meerkat Debates: Meerkat Musings versus Silence of Mind – Public or Private Healthcare, the Challenge
Welcome to the in what I think is best suited to a five-rounds each debate, on the topic of whether or not public healthcare services (think of the NHS in the UK) are better than the US-style private healthcare service. It’s a simple enough premise, which system is best? I will be advocating for public healthcare, I suspect Silence will prefer to argue in favour of private healthcare.
As to the structure, my proposal is five posts each. I don’t particularly want to impose a word-count, however if Silence wishes to suggest ideas over post length, that is fine. Since Silence is the challenged party, he may also have the choice of whether or not to go first.
Where possible, links should be provided to sources. Reasoning should be explained. I don’t feel a particular need for any additional conditions, but we shall see if Silence has any he may wish to add.
