Stray Meerkats: Minding One’s Business (or, why Hypocrites never understand Irony)
It is often amusing to me when people assert – usually without a shred of irony – that I should mind my own business. What business is it of these cretins and miscreants to tell me what I can and cannot write about? Why do they arrogantly and ignorantly presume to dictate to others what they can say?
I will write about any topic, in whatever manner I see fit. If this upsets cowardly trolls, so be it. It is on them to be mature, and it is on them to make a choice as to whether or not they read my material. Am I expertly qualified to write about everything I write about? No, but then again, I do not pretend to be an expert. I present opinions, backed up where possible with facts and logic. This makes me no different to the very people criticising me (indeed, one particularly ignorant troll displays their own spectacular lack of expertise, with virtually every post they make). It is no one’s business what I write about, save for my own. If you do not like that, you are free to not read my work.
