I’ll give you three guesses, but something tells me you won’t need all three.
Long before I donned the meerkat fursona, there was Timon, a neurotic, anxious, slightly sarcastic and utterly loyal meerkat. He might have been nervous, but he would fight for his friends. His jumpy, scatty nature rendered him my spirit animal, as it were.
Such is my love of Timon that I even have a tattoo of this loveable meerkat:
Whilst Timon speaks to me on a spiritual level, it would be remiss of me not to pay my respects to some other cartoon characters that I love. Take for example, Scrooge McDuck, especially as portrayed by David Tennant in the 2017 DuckTales reboot.
Is this post turning into an excuse to show off tattoos? Maybe. Still, whilst Scrooge has been marvellously entertaining, Timon is my favourite. He wins, so to speak. I certainly have more in common with the nervous meerkat, than the billionaire, intelligent duck!
