Day One
Welcome to Meerkat Musings, and the rebirth of the blog!
I will grant this is a somewhat drastic move on my part, and a move I am already finding taxing. Have I bitten off more than I can chew? Was this all one big mistake? Perhaps, perhaps not, but it is done, there is no reversing it (well, there is, but I won’t).
Why start over? Simply put, it was time to instil new life into Meerkat Musings. My blog and site had developed somewhat organically, which is great, but not without consequences. The old site was full of missing images and broken links, and to fix it all would be a laborious, painstaking task, one I had no time or patience for. It was easier to start over, and do things in a more exacting manner. With luck, this will mean that this new-look Meerkat Musings is sharper, bolder, and better than it was before.
For those wondering as to the old content, it still exists. It has been archived, and with time I will restore some of it. As to when that happens, I could not say, but suffice to say that some of that original material will find its way back to Meerkat Musings!
