Meerkat Prompts: The Menu Taste Test
The year was 2016, and the occasion was an invitation to try out a new menu at a local Italian restaurant. As this was an invite, we were only paying for drinks, and in exchange my wife, daughter and I would offer our fair impressions of the menu. We got to eat a decent amount of food, something that will never disappoint this meerkat!
The whole experience was pretty good, and it certainly gave me food (heh) for thought. However, the event that had me sniggering was the presentation of my daughter’s ice cream. See if you can guess why:

This was a lovely evening. Alas, I don’t recall any similar opportunities, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for this sort of thing. All sorts of businesses want people to trial new products and services. Cue the freebies!
