The Meerkat Responds: A Lack of Thought

Recently, the overly-obsessed Mr David Thiessen of Theology Archaeology wrote yet another post referencing me (well, to be precise, his fairy-tale, imaginary version of me). Here, he displays a lack of thought, and some contradictory musings, which continue to show Mr Thiessen’s lack of reasoning skills. Mr Thiessen also yet again references Bruce Gerencser, albeit once again via his overactive imagination.

If God exists, why would they call upon a known deceiver, a man of hypocrisy, and a man who lacks logic, reason, and compassion, to be a messenger? As highlighted in previous posts, Mr Thiessen has mocked Bruce, mocked me, and displayed a cruel, callous attitude towards both grieving fathers, and those celebrating new life. If God exists, it is more likely that Mr Thiessen is doing the work of Satan, by serving as an example of the most un-Christian Christian imaginable. This is to say nothing of even darker displays of depravity from him. If Mr Thiessen were to be taken an example of a good Christian, then Christianity would be all about hate, because hate appears to be what festers in Mr Thiessen’s heart.

It is of no surprise that he might arrogantly presume he has been called, since Mr Thiessen’s bloated ego lends him to such lofty beliefs. He has claimed to have science degrees, which seems implausible, considering his total lack of understanding of anything to do with science. Someone with scientific qualifications would not be afraid of accountability, whereas Mr Thiessen clearly is (hence why he prefers to address his fantasy constructs of MM and BG, rather than reality). If he desires to preach to me or Bruce, he can start by addressing us, not his fantasy versions of us. He isn’t holding Bruce and I to account, how can he when he is afraid to even name us?

Note the immediate contradiction. Apparently Bruce and I should be ignored, yet we also need to be ‘rebutted’ (I think ‘rebuke’ would serve as a much better word choice). He ought to make up his mind, grow a spine, and address us in an honest manner, but sadly that appears beyond Mr Thiessen. If he wished to ‘keep us honest’, he could start by addressing our content, not his fantasy construct. He could start to demonstrate that he has scientific qualifications, instead of making empty boasts. If he wishes to challenge us, then he should address us, not his imaginary versions of us.

I suspect he will respond with little more than histrionics, but I live in hope!
