Somehow, whilst sitting in the sun yesterday, I’ve managed to end up with a sore armpit. It doesn’t feel burnt as such, but it wasn’t sore prior to soaking up the rays; it only became sore afterward. I don’t know how I’ve managed to achieve this.

Breached the 70K mark on my wip! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
This is just sheer absolute, exquisite beauty.
I have eaten too much pizza.
I don't think it's up to you to decide what's best for women, nor whether or not men can find them attractive...
You may be wondering where this post will go. Well, let’s place the scene in the restaurant above. What might I deem inappropriate behaviour in this setting? A restaurant has waiting staff, who (depending on the quality of the establishment) may or may not be paid a particularly decent wage, yet will work very hard. […]

It might be a wee bit early to tell… your armpit could get red in the next couple of days if you were only in the sun yesterday. Armpits, unfortunately, are rarely exposed to direct sunlight so, as you probably know, they’re much more sensitive. That’s in addition to whatever possible reaction your particular brand of soap/antiperspirant has with direct sunlight + skin.
Best bet? Aloe. I can’t imagine how much that must sting!! :-/
It’s weird. The burning sensation has gone but now I feel like I’ve pulled a muscle!
That’s weird… but it does sound like you pulled something. Were you doing anything strenuous yesterday?
That’s where it gets weirder – I didn’t do anything lol!
Well, the unfortunate thing is: as we get older, even seemingly simple things can result in pulled muscles.
Or that might just be me. I pull muscles while sleeping. LOL
Since you’re in the UK, I would recommend ActiPatch. It’s not FDA-approved here in the states, but it’s supposed to be available over the counter in the UK & Canada. Perhaps this is just what I’ve been told by the evil non-medication-owned conglomerate. All I know is that it worked fantastically on me when I pulled my bicep shoveling some 55″ of snow this past winter & after I went back to horseback riding after 15+ years & pulled my groin something wicked.
Otherwise, wet heat ‘n rest ‘n all that jazz. Hey, at least it’s not sunburn? 🙂
