The Death (possibly) of the Laptop (again)

Le sigh. Back in the summer of 2018 I purchased a Medion P6677 laptop. The spec is quite impressive – an I5 quad core processor, plenty of ram, dedicated graphics – and a dodgy hard drive. Shortly after getting it, it wound up going back for repair.

Now it appears the issue of the dodgy hard drive has reared its ugly head again. Given that this is the single most expensive laptop I’ve every bought, it’s reliability isn’t reflecting very well upon its manufacturer. Our back up laptop is old, painfully slow and can just about open a web browser – but it works. This… This isn’t what I paid for.

So I’m sorry Medion, but my advice to anyone looking at your brand is to reconsider.
