The certainty of a roof over my head, food in the freezer, and the well-being of my wife and daughter (and of course, my extended family). I am not an especially materialistic meerkat (though if I did win the lottery tonight, I&#8217;d certainly grace the house with a few new traps of luxury!), and I don&#8217;t need &#8216;things&#8217; to define whether I&#8217;ve been successful in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed, in the wake of a particularly hectic and at times, harrowing 2026, success can be simplified. I have only ever wanted two things: for my daughter to be happy and healthy. Everything else is secondary to that. As we near the end of 2026, her health matters more to me than ever, and with luck, the conclusion of the year will also conclude a rather stressful and difficult saga, in the best possible way.
