Socks should tremble in my presence, and freeze at the sound of my name. I am their end. I am their predator. I am the Destroyer of Socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At least, that&#8217;s what my wife would say. I have an uncanny knack for getting through pairs of socks like there&#8217;s no tomorrow! I cut my toenails, and I don&#8217;t generally do strenuous activities in my socks, yet inevitably, the toes will poke through and the heels will disintergrate. Socks have a short life expectancy in my care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t quite know how. Like I said, I don&#8217;t do anything unusual in them, yet nonetheless they degrade quite rapidly. It&#8217;s reached the stage where my wife has bought me &#8216;reinforced&#8217; socks. They supposedly have stronger toes and heels. In my mind, this is merely a challenge to overcome. After all, I am the Destroyer of Socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I have fortunately managed to avoid doing too often is <strong>losing<\/strong> the odd sock. This is not to say that I&#8217;ve never lost socks, because I have, but I tend to destroy them instead of lose them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What about you, my dear readers?
