{"id":4787,"date":"2025-09-06T12:15:34","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T11:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meerkatmusings.co.uk\/?p=4787"},"modified":"2025-09-06T12:17:04","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T11:17:04","slug":"meerkat-prompts-what-first-impression-do-you-want-other-people-to-have-about-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meerkatmusings.co.uk\/?p=4787","title":{"rendered":"Meerkat Prompts: First Impressions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once again turning to <a href=\"https:\/\/thecoffeemonsterzco.com\/blogs\/midnight-blogging\/journaling-prompts\">The Coffee Monster<\/a> for inspiration, and not working in any particular order, but choosing the recommended prompt from the 7th of September (yes, posted on the 6th, I&#8217;m a bad boy), let&#8217;s try to answer the question of first impressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope people regard me as a kind person, that in those opening minutes of getting to know me, they see me as someone who can be trusted to be nice. I want people to conclude a conversation with me and think &#8216;wow, what a friendly, genuinely nice meerkat!&#8217; Whether that actually happens is not for me to say, but I certainly have that hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can be different with first online encounters. I dare say I can be a bit more abrasive on social media, though I try not to be. I have been subjected to trolls and cowards online, and the last thing I want is to become them by mirroring their behaviour. What I hope for is that my real-life persona and my online persona are more or less one and the same, and that in both instances, I can leave people with a smile on their face.
