It’s around this time of year that arrogant, cowardly toffs gather up to defy the law<\/a> (after all, the law is a mere inconvenience to these toffs), and bring together other, like-minded arrogant pricks, complete with packs of dogs, to hunt foxes. These cruel characters perform their bloodthirsty ‘sport’ out of a sense of antiquated nobility, as a means to connect to their historic, land-owning, money-laden roots. Fox-hunting is a demonstration of unchecked privilege, historically wielded as a display of power and influence among the so-called elite, and it has continued in much the same vein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some may argue that foxes are pests, and need to be controlled. It could be said that for some farmers, foxes are destructive to their livelihoods, but this hardly makes a case for bringing together gatherings of toffs on horseback, complete with their hounds, ruthlessly tormenting a fox before ripping it to shreds. There is nothing in that deed that suggests pest control. No, all fox-hunting speaks of is a bloodlust, and those who perform it are clearly trying to feel big about themselves. Indeed, to put it succinctly, foxhunters are engaging in an ego-stroking, penis-enlarging exercise, making themselves feel pompous, important, and better-endowed by slaughtering a creature that cannot hope to fight back, all in the name of ‘sport’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These cowards need to be arrested for their flagrant disregard for the law, and put in their place for their cruelty.<\/p>\n\n\n
