Tentative plans to reopen schools and businesses, under strict conditions, were recently announced by the government. These plans have been ripped to shreds, especially the parts about schools. Teachers and parents alike have expressed their grave misgivings about how they will keep children safe.
Bottom line, until I am satisfied that this situation is under control, there is no way I am exposing my daughter to needless risk.

Also, I think we need to be honest with ourselves – schools are probably some of the LAST essential services that should reopen. Kids, really of all ages, but especially little ones, put everything in their mouths & don’t understand personal space.
Then again, looking at the push back from people & the lack of understanding of how far away “6 feet/2 meters” really is…. I don’t think it’s just kids who have these issues. (Yes, I’m rolling my eyes lol)
As you rightly say, kids will get into everything! It’s going to be impossible to police their behaviour.
