Today I’m taking a look at my favourite superhero show.
Superheroes are flavour of the month, at least in cinema, and recently several TV shows have popped up to either tie into existing universes, or create new ones that ride on the coattails of the movies. One of the shows that I like is Agents of Shield, which is an extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and features both regular humans and superhumans trying to protect the world (or control it). It’s a nice little show, not too crass or crude, and there are several nice touches of humour in it. You can’t help but warm to the character of Phil Coulson, and the ‘will they, won’t they?’ couple of Fitz and Simmons are utterly charming. It’s a great show, and one that I hope will get tied in a bit more with the MCU.
