Killing the Spark

I’ve decided, upon taking another, critical look at them, to pull immediately my works of fiction from the site. I’m frankly not happy with them.

    OK, hang on… * takes a deep breath *

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO * deep breath * OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

You’re so talented! Your work is so good! I mean, you’ve left some stories unfinished, but I always wanted to know how they turned out. You built realistic characters… I’m truly upset about this decision. Also, you need to not be so harsh on yourself!

Well, what aren’t you feeling, exactly? Your work is really good – if more unfinished than finished. I’m just not sure what you think is “wrong” or “not good” about it, nor why you feel that way.

I was a little… Bummed out I guess. I actually feel a bit better now, but equally, I’m working on channeling and focusing the crazy nervous energy that bubbles away in my brain. I need to pick a thread and pull it, and see where it goes.

Aww. I’m sorry you were bummed out, but glad you’re feeling better.

I’m also glad you’re channeling the energy. Try focusing on one “thread” perhaps? Maybe you were spreading your thoughts out too much? I’m like that (but I have that ADHD… um… ooo! Look, a kitty!).
